At the end of last month, we told you we were going to have a new website design and we delivered. The hope is that 2020 we begin to expand what ChurchAndMentalHealth.com is able to offer. The focus is still to unite the Church and mental health, now with more resources. The next step is finally here and comes with our new shop being live!
We’ve actually been working on this for several months to get it integrated correctly, not only with the products being on there, but integrated with the new website design as well as our newsletter. This is our first attempt at a shop and several more changes that plan to come, but know that we are excited for what is to come with this.
That being said, if you have any issues, please shoot us a message. We will definitely correct any issues that may come up and bear with us as we navigate this new adventure.
If you are looking for anything to review, here are a couple of recommendations:
- Church Mental Health Awareness Cards
This is the product that started the idea of creating a shop. A resource for your church to use to support your mental health inclusion ministry and congregation members who may not understand mental illness. Now, the process of getting them is much easier. - Church Suicide Prevention Policy
This came straight from an article and a need of a youth pastor who was in the midst of a teen who had threatened suicide and the pastor did not know how to respond. Now, it’s easily printable and it’s free to use. - Quit Giving Up eBook
This is a new product that we haven’t even announced until now. We understand motivation and creativity can lead to frustration, stagnation, and anxiety/depression. Especially for counselors and pastors who work in high stress positions. This is an eBook to support Christian leaders who are looking to push though and keep moving forward.
We are always looking to find other resources that may help churches and counselors. We have a couple ideas marinating even now. But we wanted to know, what needs to you and your church or counseling agency see that we could help with?
